MoCA said it is working with airlines to prevent “undue fare surges” on India–Gulf sectors and is running a 24×7 Passenger Assistance Control Room that has already resolved over 1,400 grievances via the AirSewa portal and social media. The ministry confirmed that 281 domestic flights were cancelled on 5 March due to aircraft and crew rotations being diverted for evacuation duty.(ndtv.com)
